Tennessee Wedding Venue
About

There is a 4200 square foot log home, a 1200 square foot guest house, and an 1800 square foot recreation barn for indoor use. 80 acres means privacy, unlimited creativity, and plenty of places to explore and relax.

There are many places on the property to actually hold the wedding ceremony, and you get to choose.  We have space at the main house for smaller gatherings such as rehearsal dinners, or smaller wedding parties.  In the rec barn, we can seat 150 under roof.

Hickory Ridge is an 80 acre country estate, a foothills farm, a mini lake resort, and the world headquarters of Hearthstone, one of the premier log and timber home manufacturer in the world. It’s also yours for a wedding or event that nobody will ever forget. It is so unique and flexible, it excels at anything from country-elegant, to black tie, to blue jeans and boots (or barefoot). There is no venue quite like it in the Southeast, and perhaps anywhere else for that matter.

Come for the day, or come for a week

It’s also about 30 seconds (depending on where you’re standing), by foot, to Douglas Lake.  There are easy trails on the property for anything from 10 to 60 minutes of good exercise, or a contemplative stroll.  You might even find a horse or boat around.

All that is why Hickory Ridge is a destination wedding or event.  You, your family, and your friends can come for the day, or a long weekend, or more.  You can stay on the property or as close as a half mile away at The Point, or a few more miles away at Exit 417 on Interstate 40.

Hickory Ridge is an 80 acre log and timber frame estate on the shores of Douglas Lake at Dandridge, Tennessee.  The size of the estate insures privacy and a feeling that you’re a hundred miles from nowhere.  But, you’re not.  It’s a half mile to Historic Downtown Dandridge.  It’s a half mile from The Point Restaurant Suites and Marina (http://thepointresorttn.com).  It’s 5 minutes to Exit 417 on Interstate 40.

It’s 30 minutes to the Great Smokies, or Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge, or Knoxville.  It’s 45 minutes from the Knoxville McGee Tyson Airport.  It’s 80 minutes from Asheville, North Carolina, and 60 minutes to Maggie Valley, or to historic Hot Springs, North Carolina.
